According to a story at Guardian.co.uk, the claim from the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (Darpa), which helped develop the Internet and satellite navigation systems, has taken industry insiders by surprise.
The story notes that Darpa’s research projects have already extracted oil from ponds at a cost of $2 per gallon and is now on track to begin large-scale refining of that oil into jet fuel, at a cost of less than $3 a gallon, according to Barbara McQuiston, special assistant for energy at Darpa.
This is what we need for Job creation not only in the US but Abroad also.
AlgaeFuels have been tested by major airlines such as Continental, Virgin, Japan Air
Also Boeing  aircraft mfg co.with the Bio Fuels made from Algae had excellent results.
