Egypt got hit with Wintery weather!
This is the first time in as far as I know and have researched that Cairo Egypt has had wintery weather. I dont mean like sleet/hail I mean there was snow! It had been raining and thundering and lightening and then all of the sudden it started snowing and sleeting. No it wasnt 32 degrees it was approximately 56 degrees out during the time of the snow/sleet.
It had many locals shaken and the traffic was even worse then before. Normal timings to travel anywhere were extended by 2 plus hours. It was strange for the locals because many 90%+ have never seen snow and if they have it was in upper egypt on the mountains, however none have ever experienced it first hand.
