Each Friday night, Akeeme Martin hosts WUOG's Halftime Hip Hop Show, a 3-hour variety show focusing on the genres of hip hop, R&B and rap. The show headlines with interviews from local performances and live performances, conducted in the station's lobby.

WUOG is the student run radio station of the University of Georgia in Athens, Ga.

This timelapse was taken over a 4 1/2 hour period during the show's recent Graffiti Session on Friday, Feb. 26. The video begins during the show's set up and concludes following clean-up.

Graffiti Session is an ongoing concert series where Martin brings in local bands and most of the show is filled with live performances and interviews.

    3. Freedom Williams, formerly of C+C Music Factory and made famous by "Gonna Make You Sweet (Everybody Dance Now)"

    4. Mic Audio

    5. The Result of Lust

    6. Richelle L. Brown

Graffiti Sessions are a joint venture between Martin and the station's operations stuff, who produce live performances at the station.

The show also takes advantage of WUOG's nightly 5-minute 10 pm newscast with James Brierton. Martin doesn't just pauce for the news but he makes it a part of his show. Most recently, the show sent Brierton around campus during a recent snow storm to conduct live man on the street interviews.
