        My wife has been trying to no avail to use this website,

    https://ceac.state.gov/genniv/

     

    to submit an application for a visa for her family to visit the US.  Each time she starts the application on "Start Application" button at the bottom of the page, she is not able to complete it due to very slow and failing or slow and 20 minute timeout for this website.  At the top of this page, they are apparently aware of the issue where they suggest to save your application but that is misleading because you still have to start over from the beginning each time there is an error.   This website is a complete mess and someone deserves to fired for allowing a web server like this to exist representing the federal government.
