    Fremont: Day of Action Against Education Cuts 3/4/2010

    CNN PRODUCER NOTE     bluestatus is an aspiring photojournalist and junior at Newark Memorial High School in California. He took photos of protests against education cuts in Fremont on March 4. Similar protests were held around the state and across the country.

    School districts all over the state of California protested today against the budget cuts to the education system that have been progressively worsening each year.

    The day has been deemed as "March 4th", or "Day of Action". Above are the photos of the protest that occurred today in Fremont California, on Mowry avenue and Fremont boulevard. The protest was organized by the Fremont Unified District Teacher's Association (FUDTA).
