National Day of Action to Defend Public Education San Diego
College students from all over San Diego marched through downtown San Diego chanting and hitting drums in protest of the state budget cuts made to education. about 3,000 students marched from Balboa Park to Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger’s office in downtown San Diego. Students from all over California held protests and walk outs at several major Universities including UC Berkley, UC Santa Cruz, SDSU, and UCSD. Students want free education and to stop the budget cuts already effected the cost of going to a higher education.
