Liz Cheney's whole "Al Qaeda 7" stinkbomb is just so stupid. To accuse American lawyers of having susceptible values because they gave legal representation to suspected terrorists is laughably UN-American! The beauty of the American legal system is the idea that everyone -- innocent UNTIL PROVEN guilty -- has the right to such representation. This is as stupid as accusing lawyers that defend murderers and rapists of loving murder and rape.

Andf if you think the "innocent until proven guilty" thing applies ONLY to Americans or U.S. citizens... it does not.

What's more... the very conservative base to which she's trying to appeal are the same wingnuts who, by and large, believe that her lesbianism is an abhorration to nature (not to mention "real American values").

As a liberal, I have a hard time understanding how she's even part of the conservative landscape. Kind of like how like Sarah Palin... if she looked more like Madeleine Albright... would not be part of that conversation.
