    Melissa Sue Robinson For Mayor

    I think that  many transsexuals should run for public office in order to fight for equality so my sign reads Melissa Sue Robinson For Mayor (although I am not presently running for that, as the race is over). My last run for Mayor of Nampa Idaho was in 2009. I am now presently running for State Representative in Idaho's district 12 which includes Nampa.  Nampa is one of  the most conservative cities in the United States being home to Northwest Nazarene University and five LDS churches. Even so I was able to garner almost 300 votes. Many cities around Nampa including the Idaho State Capital, Boise, have transgender inclusive anti-discrimination laws. Nampa refuses to even listen to us pertaining to that.
