    Cheneys: Keeping America Unsafe

Liz Cheney is pushing her dad’s extremist agenda with her own little hate group, ‘Keep America Safe’. The feint of the name, of course, is that the country is wide open to attack- else why the need for such a group?

One bit of business was to attempt a witch-hunt to root out commies. Pardon me, terrorists, in the guise of US Attorneys, the thus branded ‘Al Qaeda 7’, giving aid and comfort to the enemy in the form of legal defense, which, if I remember, is a hallmark of democracy, particularly our democracy. And quite the classic bit of transference on Liz’s part, trying to fatten Dick’s false argument about us being doomed under Obama by demanding his AG Holder rat out lawyers who had previously defended Al Qaeda suspects….during the Cheney/Bush Administration [I do have the order right, btw.] Why not the clarion call then, during those unsafe times?

But democracy be damned, Liz wanted the names of those Unamericans. McCarthyism resurgent.

The public thankfully didn’t get swept up in the paranoia, as even Republican stalwarts like Ken Starr and Lindsey Graham recognized the proposed pogrom, and accompanying propaganda video, as having gone too far.

I’d offer that Cheney’s group is really in the business of political gain and doesn’t truly care about enemies of the state, or else Liz and Dick and their like-minded disciples would perform a simple task that would live up to the challenge of keeping us safe. Emigrate.
