    CNN PRODUCER NOTE     mikehansome captured video of a "halo" around the sun. The ring is caused by sunlight or moonlight being diffracted as it passes through cirrostratus clouds.

    An interesting but strange occurrence of rainbow around the sun over Accra city of Ghana created a spectacle. Some say it may have been as a result of the slight rain showers last night others want to think otherwise. In times like these from Global Warming to natural disasters, every sign seems significant these days.
