When Being American Meant Something
It seems to me that much like America itself this iReport site suffers from low morale.
The negative mud-slinging towards anything Americana, whether it's a health care plan for the citizens or American auto makers making a comeback.
I mean it stinks to high heaven.
What the hick is the matter with you people !
You got any pride !

I've read some stuff here the last couple days that I can't believe this is America.

Talking about how a health care plan is going to bring this and that kind of calamity.
And that's the furthers thing from the truth, and then you find, that these people here talking all this nonsense have got darn near a Cadillac plan themselves. So then you realize it all boils down to them thinking they'll have to pay for someone else and that any kind of plan will lower the quality of service. And that is simply not true.

And then these people here claiming some kind of conspiracy against Toyota to build up the American auto makers. I mean this is pure rubbish. The American auto industry has had to face the very same things like going before Congress, massive recalls, you name it just like Toyota.

The truth of the matter is Toyota has been every bit a sham like anyone else.
And it simply finally caught up with them. There is no conspiracy. After all most of their vehicles are built right here in America, by American citizens, and they make a darn good product. And you know what, have you driven American lately ? Their making a darn good product also.
