EXCERPT from one of my old blog posts in August 2008:

Today, I was driving back from the gym and I drove by a sign that I've driven by SEVERAL times over the past few months. For those of you who are familiar with south Broward County and the town of Southwest Ranches in Florida, I was driving north on Dykes Road between Sheridan and Stirling.

Anyway, every time I pass this sign, I vow that I'm going to go home and visit their website. Perhaps it's some type of joke. Of course, this would be kind of obnoxious given that Southwest Ranches is not only home to several farms and horse ranches, but at least 20 or so places of worship for several religious communities. However, I visited the website. Apparently it's not a joke.

Interesting advertising tactic! Others could learn a thing or two about spreading their faith through the use of shocking billboards.
