Biden has been a staunch supporter of Israel.  If he's condemning it, it’s because Israel is wrong and he is just not going far enough.  We have been appeasing Israel's thirst for land long enough. It is time for sanctions.

Israel's actions are jet fuel for terrorism!  The worthless piece of land they are fighting over is just not worth what it is costing our military and security agencies.  The geographic tension instigates proliferation in the region.  It’s not worth nuclear war.  Peace is much more valuable.

If the tables were turned and the Palestinians were infringing on Israeli land we would have invaded them a long time ago.  Like when Iraq moved in on Kuwait.    The hypocrisy of our current policy is the real fuel for terrorism and making the US a target.  Israel funded propaganda covers the problem and the truth.  These people don't just hate America and our way of life, they have been saying over and over again they are pissed we have been enabling Israel.  Maybe they would attack us anyhow, or look for other reasons but let’s take away their greatest recruiting tool.  

For the US, Israel is like having family member with a drug addiction.  In this case, they are addicted to Palestinian land.  Their actions are harming themselves and instigating worldwide unrest.  It is obvious that step one from any "peace process" is for them to remove their settlements on Palestinian land. Step two is... well, that's it, end of conflict.  After the settlements are removed the pressure would be on Palestine to simply maintain the peaceful relations.  Actions against the Palestinians could be defensible if Israel was not occupying their country, not before!

Israel's abusive actions put the world in danger and we should not sit still for this.  Terrorists groups like Al Qaeda cite the Israeli conflict as their reason for attacking us. We in the US have to change our life style and compromise our security so that Israel can occupy another country?  And you know what, I don't even care about any details of how or why they are there, it doesn't matter at this point, the piece of land is just not worth nuclear war!  Israel should be grateful that the UN gave them a country and all the support the US has given them over the years.  They should respect their borders.

Instead they act like impetuous children. Their announcement to expand settlements during Vice President Biden’s visit should send a clear signal of their disrespect for US support and self destructive path they are on politically.  Like an addict they cannot help themselves from their "fix" of taking Palestinian land.  They need an "intervention" from the US in order to stop.    

It’s no longer enough for the US to condemn the expansion.  We know we do not have the moral high ground on this issue.  When we turn a blind eye to these morally indefensible actions we fuel terrorism.  We give people a reason to sympathize with Iran and Al Qaeda regardless of whether or not they maybe complete wackos.

US policy is flawed concerning Israel.  It should make clear its support for Israel and that any attack on Israel would be considered an attack on the US but it should support sanctions for Israel if it does not remove its settlements.  We need a policy of tough love for Israel.

God's chosen one's have pissed off God many times before according to the Bible. What they are doing is morally and intellectually wrong and if Biblical history is any lesson, God will punish them for it.

We need to help our addicted friends and save them from themselves!  And maybe save the world from further suffering and quite possibly another war.
