Unrest in Iran |
Turning a blind eye
“Today, the Zionist regime is on a definite slope to collapse, and there is no way for it to get out of the cesspool created by itself and its supporters. The Islamic Republic of Iran, while fully respecting the resistance of the oppressed people of Palestine and expressing its all-out support for it, submits its humane solution based on a free referendum in Palestine for determining and establishing the type of state in the entire Palestinian lands to the distinguished Secretary General of the UN.
American empire in the world is reaching the end of its road, and its next rulers must limit their interference to their own borders. Today, the thought of hegemony quickly becomes a demerit.
And now a few words with the expansionist governments ruling global relations:
Be aware that living with obedience to God and carrying out His orders, compassion for people and striving for the fulfillment of justice is to your advantage too. I invite you to return to the path of God, the Prophets and to the path of the people of the world and to the truth and justice.
Dear Colleagues,
Of course with the grace of God Almighty a hopeful trend is flourishing in the heart and soul of human societies. The universal eagerness for justice, purity, and love for others, monotheism and the quest for perfection is clearly and increasingly on the rise. A universal resistance against the acquisitiveness, aggression and selfishness of the bullying powers is being formed.” Ahmadinejad said in his speech to the UN General Assembly.
If Ahmadinejad isn’t world threat to humanity, U.S. interests and Iranian people, then who is? It makes me worry when I see they don’t take him seriously, I’m sure they were lots of people didn’t take Hitler seriously also.
In Afghanistan and Iraq wars Iran completely co-operate with U.S. forces. At that time Mohammad Khatami was the president and his teams including diplomats and military figures went to discuss the attacks mostly in Western European countries for many times. Iranians preferred to enjoy watching their enemies to be destroyed.
At this was kept in secrecy of course, both sides didn’t like to talk about it. In a way U.S. turned a blind eye on Iran’s nuclear programs for sometime because of the sudden improvement in behind curtain relationships in Bush era. The same thing happened in a larger scale when Pakistan was fighting and co-operating on war with Terrorism. It was just after 9/11 attacks and U.S. really needed Pakistan as their ally.
The U.S.-based Natural Resources Defense Council (NRDC) estimated that Pakistan had built 24–48 HEU-based nuclear warheads with HEU reserves for 30-52 additional warheads. In 2003, the U.S. Navy Center for Contemporary Conflict estimated that Pakistan possessed between 35 and 95 nuclear warheads, with a median of 60.
The NRDC's and the Carnegie Foundation's estimates of approximately 50 weapons are from 2002–03 estimations. In 2000, U.S. Military intelligence estimated that Pakistan's nuclear arsenal may be as large as 100 warheads. The actual size is hard for experts to gauge owing to the extreme secrecy which surrounds the program in Pakistan.
If Pakistanians which doesn’t have much of Infrastructure in their country could go that far, now the question is where is Iran with the Industrial Infrastructure and its capabilities?
