Panoramic view from Central Brasilia, Brazil´s Capital
I´ve sent a Panoramic view I made of Brasilia, Brazil´s Capital. Brasilia is right in the middle of the big Country named Brazil (which is bigger than the continental USA). Brasilia is becoming 50 years old this April 21, 2010. This picture was taken from the TV Tower. It shows the Congress Towers and the Ministeries Buildings around a huge central lawn. You also see the Cathedral at the front of the Ministeries Esplanade and the beautiful three-arcs JK Bridge over the artificially created Lake Paranoá. Far right you see the beautiful black building of Brazil´s Central Bank, the tallest of the capital. The city contains many architectural gems from famous architect Oscar Niemeyer. I´ve also sent another picture of JK bridge, obtained from Wikipedia.
Hope you like it and come visit us !
