Report by Ketan Tirodkar and Indian Foreign Secretary Nirupama Roy
Russian President Vladamire Putin on a visit to India signed pact with his Indian counterpart Dr. Manmohan Singh initiating 12 nuclear plants to be built in civil and defense sectors in India.
The visit of Russian President Vladamir Putin has proved to be a blessing for the continent of Asia as the two countriwes have signed 19 treaties on civil and defence related issues.
The major among these include the Indian Navy Vessel Admiral Gorshkoc recised agreement by which the aircraft carrieer, the launch of which was delayed by over four years shall be inducted into the Naval squad by 2012.
Apart from this around 18 more agreements came to be signed on nuclear power sharing agreements in defence and civil sectors.
It is widely felt sentiment in the Aisan as well as the world media that China which was supporting out-of-the way initiative to Pakistan has come under pressure and will be restrained from extending unnecessary support to the Indian neighbour,
