As the Power Point presentation that surfaced recently, we are finding out that the Extreme Right Wing of the
Republican Party (Tea Party and other elements) will refrain from nothing. They systematically and deliberately want to scare the base of the party and the big donors into donating. Through repetition they bombard people with ads, emails, articles and reports with falsehoods and distortions about Democrats and President Obama.

They are spreading fear and hatred in every form. Unwarranted fear, that is.

In this post I want to bring to your attention that fear and hatred are like drugs.

The big picture is that Special Interest funds that feed GOP coffers could be invested in job-creating projects, but they are deliberately withheld, or spent abroad.  Why? In their effort to defeat Obama's every move, they are sacrificing the American people.

I don't care if they claim credit for job creation, if they worry that Obama will claim credit. That is really not the point. The point is the struggling America, especially the depleting Middle Class.

What the GOP does not understand, is that they do have the power and the money right now to help solve our grave problems, but they fear this would mean a victory for Obama, whom they hate.

They do not care about the people, that's the problem. They care about themselves.

The way things stand now, enormous moneys are spent to polarize the population, to present Democrats in a bad light and the public is subjected to irritating and destructive propaganda.

This has to change. In this post I am trying to plead with Republicans to change their paradigm. They hold the key to help their beloved country and its people. They are withholding that help, when they could even get credit and score political points with it. Instead they choose hate mongering and below-the-belt blows at the expense of all of us.
