Flu and germs are such a simple issue for most.  Not so for my family.  Cough cough cough and the beginning of bronchitis in 1 day.  Gee it would be so wonderful to send him to the doctor to get an antibiotic.  He has the nebulizer and albuterol to go with it from the last issue a month ago and is taking it.  24 hrs after coming down with flu symtoms he needs to see the doctor but can't because he is uninsured.  Said he wants a Darth Vader mask to keep him from the germs from now on.  He made the sounds on the phone that Darth Vader made in the movies.  21 and no f'ing Darth Vader mask.  He is a 21 year old with an over active immune system.  Stage 4 Large B cell lymphoma at 16 and asthma since the age of 3.  A native american with an overactive immune system.  No insurance so no flu treatment.  Pass that health care plan obama!!!  It does not cost less to delay treatment in asthmatics until pneumonia has set in!!!!  Delaying until the emergency room treats him will damage his 21 yr old lungs maybe permanently.

I am telling him tonight to treat the ill as if they have the bubonic plague.  When they invite you over and then you learn they are ill, politely get up and walk out.  Then WASH YOUR HANDS WELL.  People are so inconsiderate.  No thought for the fact that they could permanently injure another with their illness.  Think people think.  Don't go to work sick, invite others over when you are recovering, etc.  Let's pretend you will end another's life by your inconsideracy because you very well may.  If you are sick, isolate yourself!
