Kissinger In Hospital in South Korea
86 year old Henry Kissinger, the former "Nixon" era Secretary of State, has been hospitalized in South Korea with stomach pains, Bloomburg reports. He is in stable, but not serious, condition.
The German former Secretary was a famous late night fodder piece on "Saturday Night Live", and the stand up comics of the day loved to use Mr Kissinger in their satire routines.
He pioneered the policy of détente with the Soviet Union, orchestrated the opening of relations with China, and negotiated the Paris Peace Accords, ending American involvement in the Vietnam War.
