This iReport is part of an assignment:
Travel Snapshots: Paris |
Brazilian river trip
Pictures are from a missions trip I took with a group from Alabama in 2007. We stayed in Manaus for a few days, then traveled up river on a river boat for the next 7 days, stopping at villages along the river. We provided dental and medical aide to the villagers. We also taught the children vacation bible school during the day and at night, we would hold a church service for the whole village. In some places we built buildings out of mud bricks or helped to repaint the outside of houses. It was a truely life-changing experience.
