Millions are expected to attend the Kumbh Mela in Haridwar, India. Considered one of the world's largest religious gathering, devout Hindus make the pilgrimage to take a bath in the Ganges River. Rotating among four cities every 12 years, bathers believe that taking part in the Kumbh will wash away their past bad karma.
