Coffee Party movement |
Welcome to Happy Cincinnati Coffee Party Day
On March 13, 2010. at noon, around 20 people gathered at Cincinnati Rohs Street Cafe for the coffee party movement. People wanted to stand up and speak up. They wanted to do getting together and start the conversation going as the coffee party movement is gaining steam.
They agreed on the following mission statement:
"The Coffee Party Movement gives voice to Americans who want to see cooperation in government to create positive solutions. We recognize that government is not the enemy of the people, but a vehicle for our collective will, and that we must participate in the democratic process in order to address challenges that we face as Americans. As voters and grassroots volunteers, we support leaders who work toward positive solutions that benefit all Americans, and hold accountable those who obstruct them."
