    I'm just so tired of watching people die

    Last night in a busy emergency room that will remain anyonomous.

     

    RESUS team member...RN..

     

    About 10 pm. 12 YO motor vehicle accident victim. Massive head injuires, DOA, resusciation fails.

     

    About 1 am. 65 YO in septic  shock from a repiratory infection. Resusciation commenced, intubated & ventilated. But doesnt make it.

     

    Now imagine watching this over and over every working day for years..

     

     

    Sometimes it sucks. Soon time to go to work and do it all again.
