Cool Sights at Chicago St. Paddy's Parade
On the Saturday of or before March 17, Chicagoans gather to celebrate St. Patrick's Day at a special downtown parade.
Every year, the Chicago River is dyed green at a special ceremony before the parade.
But this year, a special guest at the parade stole the show: Galaxy Goose- a 6 foot mascot from Kimberly, WI.
Galaxy Goose flapped his wings and "flew in" from a town 3 hours north of Chicago to be at the special event.
The creator of Galaxy Goose- Edward Hall- talked about what inspired the character.
