Los Angeles International Airport was locked down earlier today because of terrorist threats. The suspect was arrested and LAX was reopened hours later. Passengers were not allowed to enter or leave the airport. They were forced to wait on the streets outside the entrance of the airport until further notice. This event caused many flight delays for all passengers, including rock band No Cover (
http://www.nocovermusic.com), who recently completed their Los Angeles tour that included the Whiskey-a-go-go, the Cat Club, Key Club, and Air Conditioned Lounge among other venues. Due to L.A. flight delays, No Cover was delayed and unable to play their subsequent shows in New York City. No Cover is a band of three brothers - Tim Jarzabek (drummer), Mike Jarzabeck (piano/keys), and Nick Jarzabek (vocals/guitar). Fan favorites include "One More Time," "Say Goodbye," and "Peace and Quiet." In 1999, No Cover received a Billboard Honorable Mention Award for their original song "Illusion." The band also wrote music for the movie Waking up Dead (2005), directed by nine-time Emmy Award winner Fabio Jafet with a camio drum performance by Tim Jarzabek. Waking up Dead (2005) was shown at the Chicago International Film Festival, The Beverly Hills Film Festival and New York film festivals and opened commercially in Miami and New York in 2006. Tim Jarzabek is also the feature drummer in a soon-to-be-released episode on VH1. For more information on the band No Cover and upcoming tour dates, visit
