Twilight Convention.. The Craze Continues!
The Twilight craze continues with the release of New Moon in November and the anticipation of the release of Eclipse on June 30th.
At the official Twilight Convention held in Los Angeles California, teens, tweens, and and their mothers flocked to be part of the world of Vampires and Werewolf's. The host for the convention was the internet sensation Hannah and Hilly Hindi, creators of the Hillywood Show. They too have their own cult following. The fans were able to see actors, attend a vampire ball, take part in a costume contest, and much more. Many vendors selling Twilight goods were in attendance.. you too could have those famous haunting red eyes with colored contacts. I met Kimbra Hickey, the famous hands holding the apple for the cover of Twilight. I arrived in time to listen to New Moon's, Kiowa Gordon ( Embry Cal) answer questions from his many fans in the audience. Girls became very excited when he jumped off the stage and started passing out hugs... especially Kristina Backlund who was just about to celebrate her 13th birthday. Kiowa was a friendly and approachable guy. Kiowa was generous with his time and looked like he really cared about his fans. He brought his band Touché' on stage and they jammed for a bit. Everyone was enthusiastic to be at the Twilight Convention, look for one in a town near you!
