Paris..wide angle from the Eiffel Tower...
Paris...WHAT????...
the week-end assignment is over?.....NO!!!!...
...even after submitting 3 previous "reports"...I've just begun.
Photos taken ffrom the highest (1063 feet) point in Paris...second in France...Not really that high by current standards but in 1887 when it was designed by Gustave Eiffel for the World's Faire, it was one of the tallest structures in the world.
#1...view N.E...red building center is anthropology Museum Quai Branly...Sacre Couer Church is top right.
#2... view west down the River Seine.
#3...view north...foreground is the forest Bois de Bologne...La Defense commercial Center in the rear.
#4...view to the south..large building is Mont Parnasse.
#5...again..view north towards Bois de Bologne (forest) and La Defense.
#6...view east/northeast.
#8..looking down from the suimmit.
#9...view from across the river... the "right bank " taken at the Trocadero cultural center
#10...also from Tocadero.
