       Dated 3/15/2010 GASSVILLE MAN CONFRONTS BURGLAR LEAVING BUSINESS - HOLDS HIM FOR DEPUTIES. Joshua Ray Theobald      A Gassville business owner responding to a burglary alarm of his business at approximately 3:22 AM this morning apprehended the burglar as he was leaving the business.    The business involved was the “Simply Beautiful Salon” at 6554 Highway 62 West in Gassville, which is owned by Mr. Kenneth Chism.           The Sheriff's Office had also been notified of the alarm, and Deputy George Edings was responding.    While Deputy Edings was still enroute, the Sheriff’s Office was told that the business owner was detaining the suspect at gunpoint, awaiting the arrival of the deputy.           Upon Deputy Edings' arrival, he observed that Mr. Chism was detaining the burglar, who was later identified as Joshua Ray Theobald.    Theobald was arrested and taken into custody.    Deputies also learned that Mr. Chism had removed and taken a Marksman BB Pistol that Theobald had on his person.           Investigators determined that Theobald had broken into the business through the back door.    Deputies recovered approximately $225 in cash from Theobald, as well as a pocket knife, flashlight, and three lighters.
