    Bobby Fischer's Grave in Selfoss, Iceland Jan 9 2010

    Grave of the great man himself located just outside Selfoss, Iceland (a small town southeast of Reykjavik).  Taken Jan 9, 2010.

     

    Probably not be accident, but the church and graveyard are off the beaten path -- you have to work to find it.  On this day, I was the only person around and didn't quite know what to expect.  There are only a handful of other graves around the church, and Fischer's tombstone is just inside the gate.  All in all it was eerie yet peaceful.
