    Largest cashew tree in the world

     

    The ecological park of the Largest Cashew Tree in the world is a must for tourists visiting Parnamirim, Brazil. Occupying 8.500 square meters, and producing 80 thousand cashew fruits when in season, from November to January. Tourists can enjoy the fruit, which is not sold but given to visitors who come when the fruit is in season. Trained guides relate the interesting details about this lovely and exotic tree, for example that it is approximately 110 years old. The “World’s Largest Cashew Tree”, registered in the Guiness Book of World Records, enchants everyone who visits it and constitutes an important source of social and economic development for the local population.
