Was working on some papers late at night, in the second floor of my home, I had the windows open and could hear a rumbling off in the distance, I immediately knew an earthquake was coming. With in a few seconds the windows started rattling, then the house started shacking. Was strong, felt almost as if, the epicenter was close. Being from Southern California, I am use to earthquakes, this 4.4 was nothing special, but always a good reminder that we should all be prepared for a much larger event.
