Scienza on the road in Second life

Second Life has begun attracting educators with  the potential of providing an immersive and interactive experience for  students and for all the people who are fond of scientific subjects.

Second Physicsand Immersiva.2Life have organised "Scienza  on the Road" a sort of travelling  workshop  whose aim is to  spread the knowledge of physics and other sciences within SecondLife.

The concept behind this project  is to bring in the metaverse  a  series of  conversations about science and technology in a very easy to understand  way ,  trying to involve  at most the audience in order to promote the popularization of Science

Each subject  will be developed through discussions mainly focused on the discoveries and inventions,  doubts and mysteries of the universe , both the one we live in and the  one inside of us.

During last year these lectures have already been successfully hold in  32 lands inworld  gathering an audience of more than1500 people .

This  year the tour will be repeated with a wider group of lecturers:  everyone of them  will  deal with different subjects such as physics, mathematics, astronomy, neurology, but also scientific literature,  restoration of  artworks and medicine .
