Happy St Patrick's Day!
- hhanks, CNN iReport producer
Happy St Patrick’s Day to everyone, I expect quite a few people will be going out to celebrate with a beer or two down at the local, but if you can’t make it out in real life you can always pop into SL and meet a few friends to have some fun. The party is already kicking off at the Blarney Stone Tavern in virtual Dublin where people are arriving every few seconds and the sim will be full all day by the look of it. There are enough places in SL to have a proper pub crawl. You can visit the Glendalough where Lilly’s Irish Pub has a lovely atmosphere, or take a trip to the West of Ireland to Nancy Blake’s pub and also look at the great St Patick’s Day outfits for sale there too. Tonight Virtual London comes alive with the Underground Club in Knightsbridge, the Coach and Horses Pub in Mayfair or the Greyhound Pub in Kensington.
The celebrations will go on into the early hours covering quite a few time zones all around the world. There will be lots of happy people having a brilliant time with a virtual drink in their hands, one good thing, there will be no hangovers in the morning! unless, of course, the people behind the keyboards have a real drink in their hands too! I hope everyone who wants to celebrate St Patrick’s Day has a great time!
