    Lost Ep8-Recon

CNN PRODUCER NOTE     NehemiYah has been iReporting on the final season of 'Lost.' Review your TV obsession here.
    - hhanks, CNN iReport producer

In this week's episode of Lost the Final Season we follow James Ford...AKA Sawyer.

In the sideways flash Sawyer is a detective and Miles, the guy who talks to dead people, is his partner. I know the con man Sawyer being a police detective is intended to be ironic, however, I've always viewed cops and criminals as being cut from the same cloth. Sawyer appears to be very much the same man we've come to know over the past 5 1/2 seasons, so I wasn't surprised at all when Sawyer revealed to Miles that he has been tracking the man who conned his father and intends to murder him.

Back on the island, Sayid's mental capacity is deteriorating which is a shame because Sayid has always been one of my favorite characters. Claire tries to kill Kate; Flocke reveals to Kate that his mother was crazy; and Sawyer plays double agent. He is sent by Flocke to investigate Charles Widmore who has docked on the main island. While talking to Widmore Sawyer says he'll set up Flocke; while talking to Flocke Sawyer says he'll set up Widmore. Sawyer real intentions are to let the two fight it out to the death while he and Kate get away on Widmore's submarine...at least that's what he told Kate.

This was basically a set up episode...setting us up for the big showdown between Widmore's people and Flocke's people. I will give this one a C+
