This iReport is part of an assignment:
Could you live without Starbucks? |
I Definitely LIVE w/o Starbux
With its ridiculous ever rising prices, my personal money situation and the fact that they sell you the coffee THEY want and not the coffee YOU want, I have stopped going to Starbucks for months now.
I'm not a complicated coffee drinker. I don't do the venti, soy latte blah, blah, blah... but it is after all a coffee shop. It's not like I'm asking for gasoline and they don't have that on their shelves.
I used to love their Breakfast Blend but they only serve Pike now, no matter what time of the day, no matter where you go, and I personally don't like that coffee, which only made it easier for me to stop going.
Sorry, Starbucks, I am buying Chock-full-o-nuts and drinking at home! Cheap and GOOD. YUM
Besides, Corporate America needs to leave room for family owned businesses... or we will continue to be screwed.
