Free Tilikum.. Interviews with Tippi Hedren, Lisa Lange and Bob Barker

CNN PRODUCER NOTE     Sea World earlier responded to CNN affiliate WESH saying they 'reject every charge made by PETA.'
    - hhanks, CNN iReport producer

Recently, a killer whale killed his trainer, Dawn Brancheau, of 16 years. Tilikum is one of many mammals that are in captivity for the purpose of entertaining the public, education, research, and being studs. Many are outraged, and animal rights activists are doing their part to fight for the freeing of these mammals. I went to visit Tippi Hedren at her preserve Shambala. Tippi has dedicated her life to animals and their well being. Tippi walks the walk. She is passionate about the message "There is absolutely nothing we can give an animal in  captivity". I also spoke with Lisa Lange, Senior Vice President of PETA,  on Tilikum and SeaWorld's participation in the death of trainer Dawn Bancheau. Tilikum was captured when he was about 2 years old. My third interview was with Bob Barker, a supporter of PETA and an advocate for animals. He spoke to me about SeaWorld and his hopes to see these mammals released to a marine sanctuary.

SeaWorld's statement on this situations is "Tilikum will return to shows at SeaWorld" They stated, "the final decision will come after we complete a thorough review  of the procedures that guide our interaction with killer whales" They also stated,  "Our parks will continue to do what they have always done: bring marine animals to our guests in ways that are enriching, inspiring, educational and entertaining".
Marine Mammals suffer from stress in the small environments that have been provided for them. As Lisa states  "It is equivalent to a human living in a bathtub"  Killer whales are social animals. They are very family oriented,  traveling in pods and staying with their families..
What is the cost of keeping these mammals in captivity?  What can we do to help free the whales?
