I remember in 2005 when this Pope was chosen, I thought to myself, OH boy. A staunch 'conservative', that and how do you fill a Pope John's shoes. But I've been watching and listening to him these last five years and I have truly come to respect and like him.

I think allot of it has to do with the fact that he's a throw back to when being a 'conservative' was just and honorable.
