Stories from Second Life |
A letter to the Pope, the Bishop of Rome, Kephas the cornerstone the church is build upon
A personal Letter to the Pope Benedict XVI about my and my friends experience, including my thoughts about the publicity of the past, present and future child abuses.
Dear holy father Benedict XVI,
i am a Member of your congregation, a small Member maybe you wouldn't recognize me. But a Member with a conscious. I remember clearly the day as i visited with my Grand-Grandmother the Church service for the very first time in my Life, and as i folded my hands for a prayer and thought "that's how we serve GOD". I was an activist for the church in several organizations and full of energy and joy doing so.
We both, and many others, know that in such a great organization like the Roman Catholic Church there are many interests and some people may use the word politics. Being the first servant of them all might lead to many conflicting situations and often the way ahead might not be clear. Each step done has its consequences, no matter what is done. Over a billion souls look with there eyes and hearts up to you, to see what the representative of Jesus Christ will do.
We both, and many others, know that Knowing and Knowing are two different things, there is the knowledge you have and there is the knowledge others can prove you have. This is true for our Human System here on earth. But you as the representative from Jesus Christ on earth knows, that GOD knows all and we cant hide from HIM in the farthest part of the world. It is possible to suppress the knowledge of any wrongdoing that has occurred, there are many ways to achieve this goal and many knowledgeable people who will provide this certain knowledge in an instant. It is also possible to follow the way of Jesus Christ, confess and ask for forgiveness. Both ways will have consequences.
Machiavelli provides a lot of useful teachings for such a situation. This way will keep the outside shiny. Only a few will know about the hidden things that happened and i am not certain that these things are "clean for the clean". But how will GOD think about this solution? Will he follow this path? Or does he care about the candle that flickers in the wind?
A confession about all the ugly things that happened might shake the Roman Catholic Church down to its very corner stones and might start an avalanche of things to come. Who knows what would come up?
Both options have there particular Pro and Con, to find the correct answer seems almost impossible. The only way i can think off, is to throw the burden on Jesus Christ because his yoke is easy on us and let you guide from the holy spirit.
I gladly forgive what happened and i found my inner peace. I say goodbye with the wonderful Nepalese greeting; Namaste, i honor the place in you in which the entire universe dwells, we are all souls and we are ONE.
sincerely
