UN's Taliban contacts arrested by Pakistan.
Report by Ketan Tirodkar
The United Nations has received a jolt with the Pak administratin deliberately swooping on the Taliban leaders who were working out a peace process with United Nations.
The prliminary negotiations were held in Dubai; UAE; earlier this year and a mid-level stage was achieved in the historical initiative.
The UN and the United States have taken the arreests bitterly. It is felt among the learned circles that the move of the Pak governmennt was to ensure financial and other aid from USA in the name of fighting Taliban offensive; which is in reality utilised for ulterior motives such as facilitating infiltratins into India.
