    CNN PRODUCER NOTE     ChrisMorrow covered the midnight release party (of course) of the New Moon DVD release and found all sorts of excited folks and even a star or two.

    An interview with Twilight - New Moon Director Chris Weitz and Actor Nikki Reed at the DVD midnight release party.

     

    One of the most talked about films of 2009, The Twilight Saga: New Moon. Fans across the nation celebrated at midnight release parties before taking home the film at 12:01 am.

     

    New Moon, a post modern Romeo and Juliet story filled with action, suspense and the supernatural, took in an estimated $300 million domestic at the theatrical box office and had the third largest opening weekend box office in movie history at $142 million.
