People move away from the volcano in Iceland
" I saw a fireedge,and i think it is in the eastern side and to the north in the glacier . It looks litke that the dark ash clud is coming to our direction .The wind is blowing to us.. And the smel is strong " says Throustur Sigfusson at Kirkjlaekarkoti at Fljotshlid, near the volcano.
He stood outside his farm and watched the volcano at Eyjafjallajkull .
He also sayd that traffic was to the weast to Hvolsvellir ( a town near the volcano )
About 500 to 600 people live near the activation area , is Eyjafjallajokull would erupt.
