WALKING IN OUR SHOES: WALKING IN DALLAS-FORTWORTH AIRPORT TODAY TAKE'S ALOT OF COURAGE

Glen has a entire new perspective on flying, if he can be distracted while going through all the trouble of boarding a DFW airplane, it would take his mind of the flight the airplane.  Glen act's nervous as he walk's up and down the hallway's and through security.  He always need to go and have a cigarette after we get our boarding passes.  Glen need's a cup of coffee to settle his stomach.   I cracked  a lot of joke's and make him laugh.  But, I know in my heart Glen was not solely convinced about his courage to to ride the airplane. So, we walk and talk until the time to board that big bird in the sky (Airplane).  My husband did not fly on airplane's before two year's ago.

He told me if God wanted him to fly he would stuck wing's attached to his body.  I laughed to myself, I know he was going to have a change of heart one day.  I knew just the thing that would get him to fly.  I told him I was going to Las Vegas,NV on a mini vacation for a week.  That's was the clincher, Glen fell for it for it, "line, hook, sinker".  He has rode 26 airplane's to his credit, it's a walk in the park to Glen now to walk in the airport without fright, it's only shake's up only during the flight's time.  Air pocket's and take off is the worst time and landing.   Glen goes' to sleep like other's do on the airplane now, because of all the walking we do before hand.  Smile!
