Yesterday on the news In Michigan a teenager was home alone when two men tried to brake into his home. The boy screamed and pressed the alarm button and the two men ran off. Alarms and cameras work. What kills me about this, is that if the boy had a gun, the gun lobby would claim a gun just saved a life.  The fact is what saved this boy’s life, was that he did not have a gun. If the boy had a gun, the robbers would have no choice but use their guns, against him. There would have been a shoot out and people would have been killed. Millions of lives are saved every year by people not having guns. I saved the life of a gun nut, by my not having a gun. If I had a gun, I would’ve killed the gun nut. Millions of people have said, “it’s a good thing I didn’t have a gun” I would have killed that asshole. Can you imagine how many people would be killed, if everybody walked around with a loaded gun, at all times?  There would be no more fistfights, arguments or giving someone the bird.  There would just be killings.
