This iReport is part of an assignment:
Weekend assignment: Let's walk around the world |
Into the Night Broadway New York City
Arriving at 50th Street and Broadway for a walk that would take me to 42nd Street and Times Square in New York City I encountered bright lights, city traffic and a soulful saxophone in the background, played by street musician, Andrew who graciously agreed to let me upload his music to this iReport.
I started my walk on this beautiful night of March 20th, on West 50th Street and Broadway, literally the start of the Theater District in New York City. Had I walked a few blocks in the opposite direction, I would have passed David Letterman's famous CBS theater at 53rd Street and Broadway. But instead, I turned south at the corner and headed straight for the center of the world, Times Square.
