Time Square New York Take 2
Amidst the bright lights of Times Square at night you will see swarming crowds, musicians, and those wishing to make a political statement as they all converge in New York City on a warm spring Saturday night.
This video was shot walking south towards 42nd Street at the new street mall that our mayor fought so hard to create. There used to be so much traffic on this part of Broadway that we New Yorkers wondered how it could possibly work. Well, it seems to have worked out just fine as the hordes of people taking advantage of the new space can attest to. The taxi drivers? Not as happy.
All the men dressed in the black garb on the right are part of a group that consider themselves to be the only 'true Jews' as they believe black Jews are the true chosen people. They are very political and are almost a fixture at Times Square where they use a microphone and a soapbox to get their point across.
