Tea Party Protester Posters March 20, 2010
This shows the actual size of the crowd at the height of the protest (pretty small) and some of the posters. Obviously a lot more going on with these people than just concern over health care reform. Also, while milling around the crowd, there were plenty of people who were well versed on their talking points on topics such as the confederate flag being about "heritage", Obama secretly being a communist and/or socialist bent on dismantling the country and society (these people actually believe this), and the need to "take our country back". I also walked around the entire crowd several times looking for anyone of color. I didn't see anyone who wasn't white.
