This iReport is part of an assignment:
Passions over health care reform |
Preexisting Condition
My daughter was born with Neurofibromatosis Type 1. She has an optic glioma (tumor) behind her left eye. When I retire, I will lose health care for her. I’m so glad that this has passed. Without the passage of this health care package, I would not be able to get health coverage for her because of her preexisting condition. Now I do not have to worry about getting medical coverage for her when I retire.
