Fond Childhood Memories of Bozo
My favorite memory of Bozo was in 1979 when my Mother got tickets to the Bozo Show. My two brothers and I were so excited to meet Bozo and Cookie. We all got Bozo buttons which was thrilling to a seven, nine and ten year old.
We couldn't wait for the grand prize game. The magic arrows bounced all around us and ended up on the kid sitting right in front of us. I was devastated. I wanted so badly to show my skills with those buckets...afterall, I had my very own Bozo Buckets game at home. I was good! Needless to say, the chosen one didn't get the grand prize.
It was cool to know we were on TV especially at the end of the taping when we got to walk right in front of the camera and wave.
That was a time when things seemed simpler. What a great childhood memory! We will miss you Bozo!
