    Big Sur Fire, July 3rd, 2008

    We live near Big Sur and decided to go to Point Sur Light Station to see what we could see today.

     

     

    Fire is burning in the hills above Andrew Molera Park and into Little Sur Canyon. We caught the helicopters filling up on seawater.

     

     

    Shortly after we were there, Highway 1 was closed from Palo Colorado Canyon south.
