    New York City Pay Phone

    This phone is in midtown: 39th and 9th. There are pay phones everywhere here, but people mostly just duck into them to talk on their mobiles when it's noisy.

    I sat and ate at a restaurant near this phone and saw no one use it or even pay it any mind for a couple of hours.
